Qi Gong

 

Qi Gong saved my life.

 

In a time of depression, digestive problems, sleep problems, fatigue...I was willing to try anything. Qi Gong was a blessing and continues to be a useful medicine to assist me in new ways as  a medical practitioner. My teacher Effie Chow taught Qi Gong for healing, and once I had healed myself, I found the interest and gift to help others.

 

I prescribe various exercises to facilitate the healing process. Muscle imbalances, weakness, and tightness can be a contributing factor to your pain and condition of health. Exercise programs are an integral part of the healing process to not only accelerate healing time, but also to prevent recurrence or its turning into a chronic condition.

I use exercise programs that are custom tailored to your needs and easy to perform in the comfort of your own home. I realize the more convenient it is to perform certain movements, the more likely you are to make it a part of your daily activities. This is crucial to forming a supportive healing lifestyle. I aim to support you in having the tools to care for yourself so you can maintain a healthy lifestyle for yourself with less dependence on doctors.

 

Qi Gong (pronounced Chee Guhng) is ancient Chinese Yoga medicinal exercise for health that is translated as "Excercising the Force of Life." Qi Gong regulates stagnant excess, deficient, and stagnant energy in the body to improve and balance health.

Qi Gong combines simple movement with breath to offer effective cardiovascular exercise without getting sweaty and does not require special preparation, outfits, or equipment.
